Reduce Product Adhesion
Improved microfinishes that are achieved by electropolishing and/or mechanical polishing do more than improve the appearance of a part. The polishing process will deliver improved non-stick properties, lower the coefficient of friction, reduce real surface area, and will allow for easier sanitation. Reduced adhesion can significantly reduce product or contamination build up and greatly lengthen duty cycles. When cleaning is necessary, cleaning operations can be completed in less time and with less effort.
